After running home serving in Vietnam in 1973, Jerome Durr attended Syracuse University to pursue his passions in art. It was here that Durr found his passion for stained glass. After years of teaching, mentoring and learning, Durr started his own studio which nows specializes in commissioned glass work, as well as restoration of stained glass creations.
While Durr’s creations can be the size of half of a building, the intricacy and detail of Durr’s work is unparalleled. Each pane receives hours and hours of painting and etching, to assure it plays its role in creating a larger body of art.
